David Neilsen is the author of a number of unnervingly disturbing short stories and slightly less disturbing novels. He lives in New York next door to Sleepy Hollow with his wife, two children, and two pagan cats who know more than they will admit. While he is not overtly hostile towards the vegetable kingdom in general, he keeps his eye on the houseplants. Just in case.
David has also written for Hollywood, and has had multiple absolutely brilliant screenplays used as scratch paper in some of the finest agencies and production companies. His hard work and a dozen years of dedication culminated in one feature film produced straight to DVD that will go unnamed, and one television pilot optioned by 20th Century FOX that fell into the endless void of Development Hell.
In addition to his writing, David is also a professional storyteller who has performed up and down the Hudson River Valley. His one-man show “H.P. Lovecraft’s Call of Cthulhu” has rendered audiences certifiably insane, which he’s pretty sure is a good thing.
