Robert Reed is the exhausted author of more than two hundred SF stories, a few Fantasy/Horror efforts, and more than a dozen SF novels. Reed won the Hugo in 2007 for his novella, “A Billion Eves”. His most recent book is The Memory of Sky, published in 2014 by Prime Books. He lives in Nebraska with his wife and daughter.
Reed’s novella, “Truth” is being made into an independent Canadian film called “Prisoner X”. Perhaps next year it will go to Sundance and win important awards. Who knows? He works part-time for Bungie in Seattle, doing consulting and tiny bits of writing on their little game, Destiny. He has a couple blogs, never posting enough with either. One’s about the future as he sees it, the other rewrites popular movies, trying to find something compelling in the crap. In the same spirit of failure to fly in the Internet, he has a Goodreads page and an Amazon page, both untended and weedy as a result.
On his to-do list, Reed has to write the next story in the Amerindian saga that began as Raven Dream. And like most of what he does, we discover that nothing is easy, and everything is quite different from what it seems to be.
